Sandra: A Client's Perspective Of Voice Technology (VT)
By Chris Milbank, TFT VT
I am in my mid fifties and have been dieting since my teenage years, sometimes wining and sometimes not. When I realised I was having difficulty managing the stairs, general walking and I was getting out of breath very quickly, I knew I had to do something. Events overtook me and I was becoming giddy when moving my head I visited my Doctor and he thought I had an inner ear infection and gave me antibiotics, they did not work. I felt desperate and alone, like it was just me and that I had to put up with it, but it felt awful. I remembered seeing a Hypnotherapist some years ago who helped me through some emotional problems including a vicious sexual attack. I called Chris Milbank and was taken aback that he actually remembered me.
I was at first unsure when he told me that he worked over the telephone these days, however I remembered that he helped me before and how much better I felt afterwards. He reassured me that if he could not help he would not charge. I felt encouraged by this but still a little sceptical. I bought three hours VT time and we started the following day.
I explained I was worse early morning and late at night, he identified my pillows as an energy toxin. I replaced them that night from the all night store. The following morning I was a lot better but not completely. He identified washing powder and conditioners as bad and bread, in fact all wheat products and sugar. Out of interest we deleted the washing powder first and my giddiness vanished. I still had over two hours of VT time left. I asked Chris Milbank if we could divert the VT time left over to my weight issues. I made it quite clear that I did not want to disclose my weight, but agreed a fortnightly weigh-in so we track progress of any net weight reduction. Chris Milbank requested I should have a further visit to my Doctor so I could update him on my giddiness clearing up and talk to him about slimming and having a regular review of my blood pressure tablets. The Doctor suggested sensible eating and gradual exercise. I made an appointment for more VT. I was surprised at how much information I had been holding back, a lot of baggage was cleared with TFT. I actually felt lighter and less numb afterwards. I was advised to keep a food diary and stay away from wheat and sugar. At any time I craved a particular food I was to phone. I found over the next five or six days I was constantly phoning and felt a nuisance. However, the cravings completely ceased. In fact I was some times forgetting to eat. We discussed changes to make eating easier and more enjoyable and found I was back to having two good meals a day. No diet but sensible eating. The following week we tapped for more motivation to exercise. He also had me imagine my ideal weight each day and tap for it until the picture in my mind was both clear and seductive. I was now picturing myself in a party dress I had worn many years before. This really gave me inspiration; I could picture it whenever I wanted. I started gradual exercise short walks and stair climbs. Then to my amazement I found myself phoning a gym and making an appointment. On arrival they checked me over and organised a gradual exercise regime. I now visit twice a week.
My first fortnightly weigh check at the gym was due and I had lost 5lbs. The second fortnight passed and I had lost a further 15 and a bit lbs. I was delighted. I had a set back one particular week; I had stayed level and felt frustrated. I phoned Chris and we tapped the frustration and it just withered away. I now only do fortnightly checks with VT or phone if I need to.
One particular day I became very giggly and felt kind of removed and the next day I was so angry with everyone and felt like crying for no reason. By the third day I was having sweats hot and cold and tummy pains. I telephoned for help. Chris checked my food diary and all was well. We traced back my steps to when it all stated. This was on the way to the post-box. Chris traced with VT the envelope I had licked, he immediately treated me for the toxins in the envelope and my tummy pains went, he then treated my cold sweats tapping under the eye and on the collarbone and these left too. My mood had swung back to normal and I felt great.
For the first time in years I can now go to a bakers or a sweet shop, a supermarket and not be tempted. I realise by not sticking to a diet my weight loss will be gradual, however I am not snacking anymore and I am eating more healthily than most. My Doctor is very pleased with my progress and has reduced my intake Tenormin (Atenolol) for high blood pressure. I now walk forty five minutes a day and my twice weekly sessions at the gym have increased from two easygoing twenty minute sessions (not easy at first) to two one hour sessions and this may be increased to three times a week soon.
TFT has been the only thing all these years that has really helped, there was no pain and I have learnt how to treat myself with it. I am now keeping Chris busy with my friends and family.
Overview of Client Sandra. Name changed for confidentiality reasons.
Identifying the pillows and the washing powder as toxins was the bulk work in clearing Sandra's giddiness. We did tap for the imbalance and the fear of it also. Two brief incidents of reoccurrence of giddiness occurred one when she unpacked and got muddled some old pillows, we identified the problem and she had rid of them, the second occurrence was some old clothes she unbagged and wore, which had not been rinsed with her non sensitive washing powder. Since they were treated she has had no giddiness at all. Having taken a lot of time detailing any medication and medical conditions she had, it was agreed we would only work in the slimming with her Doctors awareness. This proved to be crucial later on when Sandra had made so many changes in her life and the Doctor was able to review her blood pressure tablets. I thought it advisable to work with self esteem issues before attempting to have her face the daunting task of life style changes. Previous Gestalt and Hypnotherapy work which had been successful still left Perturbations to be cleared in regards to her assault. Issues with rejection and her Father dying when she was a child, her Mother passing away just two years earlier. Her moving house and emotional anger in just discovering after all these years she had two sisters. All of these were rapidly cleared with TFT. The next step was to give her a target. So we had her imagine her ideal weight. Her picture was at first not nice, but after TFT it became a clear close up beautiful picture which inspired her. Her motivation was now in gear.
The next step was the food cravings and bad diet. Sandra regularly craved all things sweet and savoury, chocolate bars and biscuits were hidden everywhere. It was agreed that Sandra would phone first or use the addiction algorithm the moment a craving appeared. There were a lot of phone calls, we found more toxins, we did lots of collarbone breathing, and it felt endless at first. Gradually they disappeared altogether. We TFT'd the thought of exercise and healthy shopping and she was well on her way.
Something interesting occurred I regularly found that when Sandra phoned from her office that she was in general reversal. One particular day she asked if I could help her leg pain and elbow ache (occurred during moving house and had the problems for three months). She was in her study and she was back in reversal, whenever she moved room she was no longer in reversal. We had tapped the pain in the leg and it stayed, we had regularly checked everything in the office including the phone. We had checked her clothes, shoes, deodorant etc. We eventually traced it to some flip flops. Sandra used to have a habit of kicking off her shoes and slipping on flip flops when in her home office. She removed them and the leg pain went, we experimented and she replaced them, after two minutes the leg pain came back. She threw them away and the leg pain never returned. The elbow we treated and cured pain symptom separately.
The incredible braveness and determination of Sandra and the extraordinary power of TFT I hope will give inspiration to others.
